Last weekend was probably one of the most exciting times I've had in recent memory..for the 3rd time in 3 weeks I went off to a beach..In this case it was a whirlwind 2-Day trip to KeyWest-- the Southernmost Island at the southern tip of Florida/US, and Miami. More than 2500 miles of driving in 48 hrs with room to spare for the Miami nightlife, and just abt as much watersports as KeyWest has to offer !
My friends drove over from Atlanta ..reaching Orlando around 1 am after a 8 hr haul .. so I promptly packed them back into the car @ 2am and off we went for Miami.. breakfast at Amimai around sunrise and then off to the Florida keys..then after after the day at KeyWest, we drove back to Maimi , checked in to our hotel, and came back to the South Beach to give my friends a taste of Miami's nightlife..(including a 2hr India-style-driving-&-parking-adventure) and whats goota be the most exotic (and expensive!) seafood platter any one of us have ever had.

[yah baby! have a look for urself.. Royal grilled platter w Jumbo Lobster, Jumbo Crab, Jumbo Shrimp, Mahi Mahi, Calamari, and Salmon !!]
Now for the main course.. no not the food, the Jetkiing and ParaGliding @ Keywest..we had around 4~ 5 hrs @ Keywest.. So we went ParaSailing for 2 hrs and followed it up with a trip around Keywest on the Water-Rockets (Jetski-s) for another 2.. and even snuck in a lunch and guess what? free beer !Parasailing was as much a calming and enlightening experience as it was exciting, if that is possible to imagine .. Floating around @ 400 ft, the view is absolutely breathtaking .. and you have a birds eye shot of the Islands, the Emerald Green Guld waters on one side, and the Deep Blue Atlantic (in a rough mood that day) on the other.. I even managed to take some shots while hanging in up there...

If ParaSailing was exciting, what followed has gotta be the most exhillerating experience of my life ! For 1.5 hrs on that WaveRunner, going @ 80 kmph on 4 ft high waves .. it was a thrillseekers dream and after the first 1 min when your internal organs try to disintegrate into something resembling mashed potatoes, it felt like riding an angry bull with wings !![unf I dont have a pic of us riding this.. but what the hell..I was going too fast neways for a clean shot !! :) ]

Enough Said.. I'm going back as soon as I get another breather.. and this time, there's more to explore.. snorkeling.. (unf I'm not a good enough swimmer for scuba diving.. but who knows..maybe later ! )
